TA, Inc is a 501 C 3, non-for-profit Reentry and Diversionary organization which offers an umbrella of clinical and case management programs consisting of five basic components that provides individual, family and group therapy. The organization was created as a comprehensive response to the needs of criminal justice clients who present unique challenges because of the complex Biological, Psychological and Social concerns which frequently accompany clients with co-occurring difficulties. Our staff consists of a core of bilingual, professional and culturally diverse team of individuals who are licensed and certified practitioners. Our agency has a creditable history in successfully working with a variety of individuals involved in the Criminal Justice System such as: Juvenile Justice Clients and IDOC Inmates/Parolees; Illinois Youth Camp (IYC) & IDOC Adult Transitional Center (ATC) Inmates; Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities (TASC) and/or Attorney Referred; Juvenile and Adult Probationers; DUI Offenders; Kane County Court Services - Adult Redeploy Initiative (ARI) and Drug Rehabilitation Court (DRC); Kane County States’ Attorney’s Deferred Prosecution Program; and County Court Services “Court Ordered and Community Service” clientele from the Collar Counties of Illinois. As a DHS/DASA licensed and Medicaid certified provider; TA provides Addictions/DUI, Career Development/Job Readiness, Therapy/Mental Health, Transitional Housing, Specialized and Spiritual Services. We strive to implement Evidence Based Practices to enhance clients’ self-esteem and reinforce areas of positive change. We offer “quality services” based on a “sliding scale fee” for those who are “genuinely indigent.” The focus is on the “cognitive change” of individuals who are ready for and need assistance facilitating successful and significant personal change but face obstacles due to the stigma of having a criminal background. We exist for the purpose of “reducing recidivism” by empowering individuals with a background acclimate back into society, and provide prevention and intervention services to adult and at risk youth.
